- Doesn't think of what the outcome of the object will look like. He is more concerned with the elements work and look together as he goes along.
- He is inspired by ships. How the objects are weighed down when they are docked but then become weightless and free when they are off at sea.
- Always keeps a sketchbook with him
- Always draws to keep in touch
- Drawing is a form of informing himself like a dialogue with what he sees
